Mike joined FXCM in 2001 as one of its first employees, building and leading the firm’s global introducing broker and institutional division. Under his leadership, the business grew from zero to more than $250 million in annual revenue by 2010, becoming the largest institutional business in the FX/CFD industry.
During his tenure, major financial institutions including Charles Schwab, E*Trade, Man Financial, Refco Financial, Deutsche Bank, Samsung Securities, Hyundai Financial, the Korean Sovereign Wealth Fund (KIC), CITIC, CICC, Gaitame, GMO Click, Maybank, Cortal Consors, and the Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) became FXCM clients.
Mike also led FXCM’s mergers and acquisitions and venture capital initiatives while serving on several executive committees. In 2017, he co-launched a CFD business, becoming one of the industry’s early market makers.
